Shivanimadhu drew comfortably with Vidhula(CCA) and won the title. In the boys section Balasubramaniam won the title by drawing his opponent Ashwinkumar in the final round of the Sri Krishna Engineering College Tamil Nadu State under-9 Chess Championship 2013 for Dolphin trophies and " Sri Krishna Cup".Aditya M & Poornasri were the runner up of the championship.
125 Boys and 73 Girls participate in this 9 round State Chess Championship for the national qualifier which concludes on 18th May, 2013.
